    SPINEO DETAILED DESCRIPTION

    An installed force sensor

Solidary from the counter-support system, this sensor is activated through the contact with the head of the patient, which is obtained by axial straightening. This force sensor measures the height, the height when the patient straightens his spine and the force exerted by the patient. With a high degree of accuracy, it enables patients to work in a secure manner by limiting, thanks to an implemented security system, all excessive vertebral constraints.

    The counter-support system

The height being adjusted automatically thanks to an implemented electrical engine, it frees the medical practitioner from any manual action. The distance of displacement of the counter support allows SPINEO to welcome kids but also adults measuring from 1,20 to 2,20m. Being positioned above the head of the patient, it never exerts pressure thus avoiding any risk of vertebral constraints. As a matter of fact, the only way of touching the counter support is if the spine is straightened by using the muscle around it.

    Display

SPINEO's display software is attractive, simple and intuitive. It is designed for:

    • Patient autonomy: during the sessions of muscular reinforcement, the patient remains autonomous. He is guided by clear messages and colourful visual instructions that have a universal meaning. The instant display of his performance under the form of curves and numbers immediately contribute to his motivation and satisfaction.
    • Facilitation of the practitioners’ task: the software of SPINEO is ergonomic because it enables the medical practitioner to easily understand the information saved for every patient. No specific computer knowledge is needed. During the evaluations, the different tests are done easily one by one. The practitioner indeed only takes action to validate the measurements. Thanks to its pragmatic design, a complete evaluation only lasts a few minutes.

    The platform

The platform on which the patient lays his feet is stable and equipped with marks in order to standardize the placement to assure perfect postural reproducibility during each session. It is equipped with an electrical system that detects the movements of the feet. Controlling the way the feet rest thanks to the sensors installed, it guarantees an efficient straightening of the back done only through the contraction of the muscles surrounding the spine. Any additional growth using the feet is signalled and consequently cancels the measurement until the patient corrects his/her position.

    SPINEO's pilot funtions

SPINEO's software is specifically designed to provide the best comfort of use and therapy.

    • Muscular evaluation of the muscles surrounding the spine: objective results regarding the muscles, measurement of strength, sustained or endurance of axial flexibility.
    • Display of the performances under the form of graphs and numbers.
    • Assessment may be edited for the summary sheet of physiotherapy diagnostic results.
    • Parameters of the evaluations may be saved in order to assure perfect reproducibility during future sessions of training.
    • Performances can be memorized in order to follow the evolution of patients.
    • Muscular reinforcement sessions are easy to do alone and personalize.
